About Collaborate CIC
Collaborate is a values-driven, not-for-profit consultancy and research organisation, working with cross-sector partners across the UK to develop the relationships, culture, leadership and infrastructure needed to enable collaborative social change. Collaborate was established in 2012 by founder and Chair, Lord Victor Adebowale, to improve services to the public through collaboration.
Many of today’s social problems have deep and complex roots. Increasingly, there is recognition that no single intervention or organisation – no matter how well-run – can achieve real and lasting change. To make progress requires a systemic approach, working across organisational boundaries. This is what Collaborate exists to support—helping organisations and people work better together to achieve common goals.
Leadership is a crucial part of achieving this change. We deliver national leadership initiatives such as the IGNITE systems leadership programme for Local Authority Chief Executives and also local leadership programmes, for example, we are currently working with the Essex Local Delivery pilot to develop a systems leadership programme for people at all levels of the system.
